God Of War Cheat Codes (PS4)
If you picked up the Collector’s or Stone Mason’s edition of God of War, boy are you in for something special.
Each of these editions included a cloth map, which as it turns out, function as a treasure map for in-game loot.
A loose translation from the map,
“The brilliant blacksmiths Brok and Sindri traveled all around the lands of Midgard to create this great map for Faye a mysterious treasure was found at the space between them at the conclusion of their journey unfortunately for the brothers the treasure’s location was instantly forgotten Brok retraced his steps and blamed Sindri for losing the treasure Sindri retraced his own steps but clearly knew it was Brok’s fault they could not find it the treasure was never found and neither brother has spoken to the other either since.”
And there’s even more from the map,
“To reveal the great treasure, stand inside the golden circle and look straight ahead to Tyr’s Temple. Now look to the left brazier and back to Tyr’s Temple. Look to the right brazier and back to the left brazier. Having just looked to the left brazier, now look back straight ahead to Tyr’s Temple again. Now look down to the floor then look up to the right brazier and then back to the left brazier, and finally look back to Tyr’s Temple to reveal the forgotten treasure.
To get to the golden circle at Muspelheim Tower, first cross behind the Statue of Thor (on Lookout Tower).
Find the circle on Muspelheim Tower and stand on it, look at these points and move the camera quickly to each point:
Tyr’s Temple, Left Brazier, Tyr’s Temple, Right Brazier, Left Brazier, Tyr’s Temple, Floor, Right Brazier, Left Brazier, Tyr’s Temple.
Now the sound of gongs will be heard if you’ve pulled this off, and a Realm Tear will appear in front of you, giving you the Forbidden Grip of the Ages (it’s a Legendary Axe Pommel). This axe gives 8 strength and 6 to all other stats.
For unlimited XP, you’ll need to use the Labors system and counters.
Follow these steps:
Check the “Labors” screen, find the “Quick Reflexes” and almost max it out, to 99/100 for “Parr Enemy Attacks”.
When you get to 99/100, kill the enemy you’ve been dodging and make the game autosave.
Continue parrying your enemy until you get to 100/100. This will grant you 3,500 XP. Now don’t kill the enemy, but rather pause the game and choose “Restart Checkpoint”.
When you restart, you’ll still have the XP you just earned. All you have to do now is what you already did, parry to 100, get the XP, and restart again.
