What Is Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII’s Zombies?
There are a lot of people out there who will have heard of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which for whatever reason, is being marketed as Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII. Regardless, it is the next installment in the first-person shooter franchise, which is expected to be released on October 12 of 2018. So far, a fair amount of information has been released about the title’s co-op multiplayer mode called Zombies, which promises to be a significant improvement on its predecessor.
What Do We Know about Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII’s Zombies?
For instance, we know that a fair amount of effort has been put into the story of Zombies mode, as shown by the recent trailer that was released. In short, Zombies mode will be focused on a woman named Scarlett Rhodes, who is searching for her missing father with the help of three outcasts who are repaying the help that he provided them in the past. Curiously, their search will lead to a relic with the power to not just create zombies but also transport people backwards in time, which explains some of the more exotic maps such as the RMS Titanic and the Roman arena that have been planned out for the mode.
On top of this, we know that Zombies mode will be featuring regular events that can be tackled with either friends or AI-controlled team members. Furthermore, there will be increased customization to support personal play styles as well as increased control over the mechanics to provide the optimal play experience, meaning that on the whole, Zombies mode is sounding pretty promising. Luckily, betas will be held in the upcoming months, meaning that interested individuals should be able to get more information soon about whether the game actually lives up to its hype or not.
