Shadow of the Tomb Raider Is Out
Shadow of the Tomb Raider has been released. Naturally, it is packed full of secrets, which is something that it shares with its predecessors. Fortunately, people who are stuck should have no problems with finding further information so long as they search for it.
What Are Some Secrets?
For starters, both the Lockpick and the Rope Ascender have made a return in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Neither one of these two items are necessary for completing the game, but both of them serve to open up portions of the game, meaning that they are critical for a more complete experience. In both cases, interested individuals can unlock them by completing the side mission called “Find Takiy’s Dice,” which can be found in the Hidden City. In the course of completing the side mission, they should come upon a character who will sell both the Lockpick and the Rope Ascender for a combined total of 6,100 gold.
Speaking of which, the Reinforced Knife is another example of something that isn’t needed to complete the game but can open up new places to explore. This time, there are a couple of options for unlocking it. One is buying it from a merchant in the market square of the Hidden City, while the other is completing the side mission called “Stay Of Execution.”
Currently, the base game of Shadow of the Tomb Raider contains 34 outfits, meaning that players have plenty of options in this regard. Out of the 34, three of them are unlocked by buying the special edition with the season pass. Meanwhile, ten are called “Vestige Outfits,” meaning that they have to be either purchased or picked up before being fixed by using up resources, while the rest come from either a wandering merchant, the New Game+ mode, completing previous Tomb Raider games, or progressing through Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
