Mortal Kombat 11 Information
There was a major release of new information about Mortal Kombat 11 that happened on January 17. One example of said information consists of the images for what Raiden, Scorpion, and Shao Khan will look like in the upcoming title.
Another example is the Fatal Blow system that lets a player whose health has fallen below 30 percent to launch a devastating attack that can knock a fair amount of health off of the opponent should it connect. Other tidbits range from how fan favorite Sonya Blade will be voiced by Rhonda Rousey to how Reptile has been confirmed for making a return complete with his iconic use of acid.
Story-wise, there have been even more interesting revelations. For instance, the Mortal Kombat series is set to have its first female main villain in the form of Kronica, who is now said to have been manipulating the course of events since the start.
However, it is clear that her manipulation isn’t perfect, which is why she never expected Raiden to beat Shinook. Much of the story for Mortal Kombat 11 will be focused on Kronica’s efforts to make the timeline “right,” which is very interesting because timeline shenanigans will provide the developers with a convenient excuse to bring back a wide range of characters as well as various versions of those characters.
