Magic Scroll Tactics Switch
Released for the PC in April of 2018, Magic Scroll Tactics is now being ported over to the Nintendo Switch, on which it will be released on February 7. In short, the title is a tactical RPG. However, while most tactical RPGs happen on an isometric board, Magic Scroll Tactics is very unusual but nonetheless very interesting in that it is a side-scroller. In it, elevation will play an important role.
For example, commanding the high ground will enable the player to rain destruction upon their opponents, whereas fighting from a lower elevation will see them struggle. Fortunately, tactical RPGs being tactical RPGs, they will have no shortage of options with which to overcome tactical disadvantages.
