Kingdom Hearts 3 Cheats And Tips

Are There Cheats Built into Kingdom Hearts 3?

Kingdom Hearts 3 has been out for no more than a short period of time. If it has cheats built into it, they haven’t been found at this point in time. However, there are a lot of people who have spent a lot of time on it, meaning that there is a fair amount of information out there that can provide interested individuals with some useful insight into getting the most out of their play experience.

What Are Some Tips to Keep in Mind for Kingdom Hearts 3?

Here are some tips to keep in mind for Kingdom Hearts 3:

The Opening Choices Are Important

When players are presented with the choice for Desire as well as the choice for Power, they should give those two choices some serious thought because of their consequences. First, the choice for Desire sets Sora’s starting HP and MP. Since the three options are Balance, Wisdom, and Vitality, it should come as no surprise to learn that these options result in 105 HP/110 MP, 90 HP/120 MP, and 120 HP/100MP. In other words, Balance is for people who want to fight in a mixed style, Wisdom is for people who want to go magic-heavy, and Vitality is for people who want to go melee-heavy.

With that said, Power is an even more important choice because it sets the rate at which Sora picks up new classes of abilities. In short, Warrior makes it easier to learn melee abilities, Mystic makes it easier to learn magic abilities, and Guardian makes it easier to learn defensive abilities. Choosing one of these three options won’t make it impossible for Sora to learn other abilities belonging to other classes. However, making the right choice will make it much easier for the player to specialize in whatever class makes the most sense for their particular play-style.

Play with the AI Settings

The party members are pretty important in the Kingdom Hearts series. Unfortunately, the party members have also managed to pick up a reputation for being bad at reading the situation. Something that can be particularly frustrating when Donald is focused on blasting enemies while Sora is on his last bit of health.

Due to this, players might want to spend some time playing with the AI settings, which can be found by going to “Customize” on the menu. Said settings have options for how the characters will fit as well as when they will use healing on those who need it. As a result, while their effects won’t be perfect, they should nonetheless produce better results than without such adjustments.

Link Attacks Are Full Heals

Speaking of which, it should be mentioned that people who want to make sure that they can save themselves when their health is low might want to pay close attention to their Link Attacks. Yes, Link Attacks are very useful for, well, attacking. However, they also come with a full heal as part of the package, meaning that they are a great way for players to get out of the danger that they have gotten themselves into. This can be particularly useful for Munny-pinchers, who want to minimize their spending by using as few healing items as possible.

The Kupo Coin Is a Must-Buy

With that said, there are some items that are so useful that even Munny-pinchers should stock up on them. Perhaps the single best example in Kingdom Hearts 3 is the Kupo Coin, which costs 400 Munny. In short, it will restore Sora’s health by 100 percent when he dies. After which, the Kupo Coin will be used up, meaning that the player will have to buy another one from a Moogle Shop if they want to continue benefiting from its protection.

In a sense, one can see it as insurance. Sure, there are a lot of ways to avoid getting killed in Kingdom Hearts 3, but having a Kupo Coin will provide coverage for even the more serious of mistakes made in the course of a tough battle. Please note that Sora can’t have more than one Kupo Coin at any given item, meaning that if his Kupo Coin has been used up, picking up another one should be a top priority.

Cook for Buffs

Cooking becomes available very early on. To be exact, the player will meet Ratatouille‘s Remy as soon as they reach Twilight Town. After which, they will be able to start cooking by completing a short fetch mission.

Generally speaking, cooking isn’t really a necessary step for success in Kingdom Hearts 3. There are plenty of people who have beaten the game without putting much effort into this particular part, meaning that if people aren’t interested, they shouldn’t feel obligated to put serious time and effort into it. However, for people who don’t mind the cooking mini-games, it should be noted that the resulting items can provide them with some very noticeable buffs.

Simply put, in Kingdom Hearts 3 as in other RPG games, the right buffs can enable players to tear through otherwise difficult battles, meaning that the combat potential of cooking should not be neglected by those who are looking for whatever edge that they can get.

Choose Keyblades with Care

Kingdom Hearts 3 lets the player equip three separate Keyblades. Once equipped, it becomes possible to change between these Keyblades with no more than the press of a button, thus making for very convenient Keyblade switching even in combat. Since different Keyblades come with different specialties, this is something that can provide a lot of usefulness to someone who makes good use of it.

One option would be choosing Keyblades that can make up for one another’s weaknesses. For instance, it can be a good idea to pair up a long-distance Keyblade such as the Shooting Star with a more close-distance counterpart such as the Favorite Deputy. This way, the player will be able to fight at any distance under any circumstances, thus ensuring that they won’t get crushed just because they have been forced into unfavorable circumstances.

Update Abilities and Equipment On a Regular Basis

On a final note, players should check in on their abilities as well as their equipment on a regular basis, thus ensuring that they will always be bringing their absolute best to each of their battles. Simply put, stats are raised on an automatic basis when the player levels up, but stats are just a single component of the system that determines actual combat power.

Due to this, the player shouldn’t neglect activating new abilities as well as picking up new equipment, which mean an extra bit of hassle in exchange for a huge boost to their combat power. For that matter, the player needs to upgrade their Keyblades as well, though the sheer number of Keyblades plus the rarity of some upgrade materials means that they might want to settle on a set of favorite Keyblades before going all-in on the upgrades.

Easy XP

While on Monstropolis, do not use the Scream Strike when protecting Boo. The game will not progress until you use the Scream Strike, allowing you to keep getting more experience points. You can go from around Level 19 to Level 25 in approximately 15 minutes. Note: As your level increases, the amount of XP you get gradually becomes inefficient enough that it not worth continuing to use this trick.

Unlocking The Hundred Acre Wood secret world

To unlock The Hundred Acre Wood (Winnie The Pooh) secret world, complete the Monstropolis world. Then, return to Bistro in Twilight Town to find Merlin waiting there. He will give you a book that warps you to Winnie Pooh and his friends in The Hundred Acre Wood. It is a very small side world that just consists of one garden. You are supposed to help your friends with the harvest by completing three mini-games.

All Collectible locations

Search the indicated locations to find all 358 collectibles (245 Treasures, 90 Lucky Emblems (Mickey Icons), 23 Classic Kingdom Games) in Kingdom Hearts 3 and get the “Hidden Kings”, “No Stone Unturned”, and “Classically Trained” trophies. No collectibles are missable. You can collect everything after the story in free-roam. During your first playthrough, some areas will be unavailable — so it is not possible to obtain 100% of the collectibles on your first playthrough on some planets.

You can either replay the world directly after completing it for the first time or grab the collectibles after the story. The videos below shows all collectibles per planet. They have the same numbering as seen in the Gummi phone. This allows you to check what you are missing in the Gummi phone and quickly find the collectible using the timeline below.

All attraction summons (finisher moves)

Kingdom Hearts 3 has six attraction summons, which are the most powerful combat finisher moves in the game. One of these attraction attacks can wipe out an entire group of enemies. When activated, Sora summons a large object (like a pirate ship), and his friends and him make use of the attraction to defeat enemies. You must kill enemies with all attractions (except the Mountain Coaster, which is missable) to complete all Game Records and get the “One For The Books” trophy.

Additionally, you get the “Tall Enough To Ride” trophy for using one attraction. They are all unlocked from the start. Each attraction can only be used against certain enemies. The game automatically uses the attraction that is the most powerful against your enemy.
