The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Remake and Tetris 99 News
The latest Nintendo Direct has revealed some information about upcoming titles for the Nintendo Switch. One such title was a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, which some people might remember as having been released for the Game Boy and the Game Boy Color. It is important to note that this will not be a simple and straightforward port of the original game to the Nintendo Switch. Instead, the footage that came with the reveal makes it very clear that this will be a fully-3D interpretation of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, which should make for a very memorable experience considering the game’s dream world setting.
With that said, other titles of interest were revealed as well. In particular, Tetris fans might be interested in Tetris 99, which has picked up some mechanics from battle royale games. This time around, 99 players will compete against one another until one winner emerges, with each success on the screen having a negative impact on someone else.
