Mortal Kombat 11 has seen further information released for excited fans of the long-running franchise. In short, there is now a story trailer, which covers Kronika’s effort to reset the timeline by bringing together multiple realities, thus resulting in past and present versions of characters meeting up with one another.
On top of this, while the story trailer focused to some extent on characters that we already know were showing up in Mortal Kombat 11, it focused on others who hadn’t been confirmed until now.
One excellent example would be Jacqui Briggs, Jax’s daughter who is making a return from Mortal Kombat X. Another excellent example would be Erron Black, a gunslinger who is in the employ of Kotal Kahn. However, the most prominent example would be Cassie Cage, the daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade who got her chance to star in her own trailer alongside Kano.
There were a number of interesting points from the trailer, but one of the most notable is that Cassie Cage now comes with a drone that can be used to assist in combat. Moreover, her relationship with her father is clear, as shown by the fact that her moveset includes an attack in which her drone goes right for the groin.
