Fans of the Yakuza series might be interested in the trailer that has been released for Yakuza 5 for the PS4. In short, Yakuza 5 came out for the PS3 in 2012 for Japan and 2015 for the rest of the world. Now, the people behind it are making a remastered version for the PS4 that will boast both better frame rate and improved resolution, which is set to be released in Japan on June 20 of 2019.
Given that the Yakuza series’s respectable sales in non-Japanese markets, it seems reasonable to speculate that the remastered version might receive a non-Japanese release as well at some point in the not too distant future.
