Watch Soulcalibur VI DLC character Haohmaru Trailer
It has been revealed that Soulcalibur VI will be receiving new DLC containing the character Haohmaru on March 31 of 2020. For those who are unfamiliar, the character is a guest character from the Samurai Shodown series, which was most popular in the 1990s and 2000s but has seen a recent revival with the reboot called Samurai Shodown in 2019.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Haohmaru isn’t just a character but the flagship character for his series, meaning that he should be very recognizable for those who remember one or more of the Samurai Shodown titles. Those who are curious shouldn’t hesitate to check out the trailer that has been released for the upcoming DLC, which is particularly interesting because it showcases some important firsts for the character. After all, the Samurai Shodown series is a 2D fighting series, whereas Soulcalibur VI is a 3D fighting game.
