Demon’s Souls Remake Trailer
One of the titles brought up in the PS5 reveal was a remake of Demon’s Souls by Bluepoint Games. For those who are unfamiliar, the From Software title was the first Souls-like, meaning that it founded the entire sub-genre of action RPGs.
However, it is similar to a lot of other pioneers in that its mechanics have become unpolished compared to those of its successors, so it will be interesting to see how much the remake will change in this regard. Unfortunately, very little was revealed about the Demon’s Souls remake, though it seems that it will retain its dark atmosphere in spite of its upgraded graphics.
