Watch Pikmin 3 Deluxe Trailer
The Wii U was a failure. However, there were some titles for the ill-fated console that were released to a very enthusiastic reception, with an excellent example being Pikmin 3. Now, Nintendo has revealed that it will be making an updated version of the game called Pikmin 3 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch, which is sure to come as welcome news for Pikmin fans. In short, the updated version will include both new missions and new difficulty modes, which are in addition to it being packaged with all of the DLC released for the initial version.
As for those who haven’t the slightest clue about what the Pikmin series is supposed to be, the gist of it is that Pikmin 3 Deluxe sees interested individuals taking up the role of a captain at the head of up to 100 of the titular creatures so that they can fight enemies, solve puzzles, and collect treasures. Moreover, this particular title boasts three captains, which is one more than Pikmin 2.
