The next Monster Hunter title will be Monster Hunter Rise. For those who are curious, the “Rise” refers to a new mechanic that will enable interested individuals to reach new heights via a new wall-climbing ability, thus making it very literal in meaning. However, chances are good that a lot of interested individuals will be even more excited by the other big reveal, which is that Monster Hunter Rise will offer players the chance to run around with not just a Palico but also a Palamute.
In other words, they can go hunting with not just a cat buddy but also a dog buddy that is big enough for them to ride. Currently, Monster Hunter Rise has been confirmed for Nintendo Switch. However, it seems reasonable to speculate that it will make its way to other platforms further into the future as well.
