What Are Friendships? (Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Cheats and Friendships)
Generally speaking, the Mortal Kombat series is famous because of its bloodiness. However, it is interesting to note that it had finishing moves called Friendships in Mortal Kombat 3, which have been reintroduced in Mortal Kombat 11‘s Aftermath expansion. Suffice to say that players might want to check them out because they can be very amusing.
How to Perform Friendships in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath?
Here are the Friendships found in the PS4 version of Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath:
Baraka
Press Back, Forward, Down, Down, Square to get Baraka to toss a cake into the air before cutting it up with his Tarkatan blades. Unfortunately, his performance is ruined by the piece that falls on his head.
Cassie Cage
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Cassie Cage’s Friendship sees her taking some selfies, which can be triggered by hitting Back, Forward, Down, Down, Square.
Johnny Cage
Amusingly, players can get Johnny Cage in a top hat to perform a vaudeville-style dance to the tune of “Give My Regards to Broadway.” The buttons to hit are Back, Forward, Back, Down, Triangle.
Cetrion
Pressing Down, Down, Down, Down, Square will result in Cetrion using her incredible cosmic powers to create a tree so that she can swing on the vines suspended from it in a rather whimsical manner, which to be fair, is very much in-theme for Friendships.
D’Vorah
Players can get D’Vorah to emerge from a cocoon with a new set of butterfly wings by hitting Back, Forward, Down, Back, and Triangle. Unfortunately, she remains as terrifying-looking as ever, which actually makes the whole thing funnier.
Erron Black
Erron Black’s Friendship sees him showing off his shooting skills by blasting away a succession of gallery ducks. Curious individuals can see it for themselves by pressing Back, Forward, Down, Forward, X.
Frost
As it turns out, Frost has some excellent figure skating skills, which can be seen by hitting Forward, Back, Forward, Back, X.
Fujin
To see Fujin flying a rather striking kite, interested individuals should memorize the sequence of Back, Down, Back, Down, Triangle.
Geras
Considering what Geras is made out of, it was perhaps inevitable that his Friendship would involve him building a sand castle. The relevant command is Back, Down, Back, Down, Circle.
Jacqui Briggs
Hit Down, Down, Down, Down, Triangle to see Jacqui Briggs take out some of her very understandable frustration on a Kronika punching bag.
Jade
Press Back, Down, Down, Down, Triangle for something that is rather reminiscent of Jacqui’s Friendship, though Jade gets to eat the candy that comes out of the Shao Kahn pinata.
Jax
Apparently, Jax is an excellent saxophonist, which can be seen by pressing Forward, Back, Down, Down, Triangle.
Joker
It turns out that the Joker is the nastiest of them all, seeing as how he has to be pressured by Batman before replacing a revolver with balloons. The command is Down, Down, Down, Down, X.
Kabal
Press Forward, Down, Back, Down, Square to see Kabal reveal himself to be another musical talent with the always funny-looking xylophone.
Kano
Cassie’s taunt was very on-point, seeing as how Kano’s Friendship features him getting ready to grill some shrimp and blood sausages. Remember Back, Forward, Back, Forward, Triangle.
Kitana
This one can be rather surreal to see, so make sure to see it by hitting Back, Down, Down, Back, X. On top of that, one could say that it was a bit of light-hearted trolling aimed at Mortal Kombat fans.
Kollector
Kollector proves himself to be a one-man band with the sequence Forward, Back, Down, Down, Triangle.
Kotal Kahn
Down, Forward, Down, Back, X sees Kotal Kahn sun-tanning with the help of a folding mirror.
Kung Lao
Kung Lao will spend some time playing with a wooden train set when Back, Forward, Back, Forward, Circle is entered.
Liu Kang
See Liu Kang’s shadow puppet by hitting Forward, Down, Down, Forward, Triangle.
Nightwolf
The command Forward, Back, Forward, Down, Square will result in Nightwolf’s animal companions performing a couple of circus tricks.
Noob Saibot

Hitting Down, Down, Forward, Back, Square will result in Sub-Zero using his magical powers to create a popsicle, though one can’t help but suspect that its pure ice flavor won’t taste very good.
