Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade for the PS5. For those who are curious, this will be a port of the base title with some new content as well as some new features. The new content will be a standalone episode starring Yuffie Kisaragi, who is infiltrating Shinra for the purpose of stealing a powerful material. Something that should provide interested individuals with a fresh perspective on the familiar narrative. As for the new features , examples include faster loading times, more difficulty modes, and the option to switch between graphics modes that emphasize graphics and performance respectively. Currently, everything is expected to launch on June 10 of 2021.
People who have already purchased Final Fantasy VII Remake will be able to get an enhancement update free of charge, though this won’t be available to them unless they play on a PS5 for obvious reasons. However, if they want to pick up the standalone episode, they are going to need to make a separate purchase.
