It has been confirmed that Black Panther will become a playable character in Marvel’s Avengers. For those who are curious, there was a recent leak that suggested that a number of playable characters were in the works for the title. Black Panther was one of the strongest candidates, particularly since the leak also suggested that there would be a Klaw raid as well as a Wakanda region.
Now, the people behind Marvel’s Avengers have confirmed that it will indeed receive a free expansion containing Black Panther as a playable character as well as Wakanda as a playable region. The Klaw raid hasn’t been confirmed. However, some kind of Klaw boss is certain, which is perhaps unsurprising when the new expansion will feature the supervillain working with AIM to steal Wakanda’s Vibranium. No release date has been revealed, so interested individuals will have to wait for further news to come.
