Shadow of the Colossus Cheats

It’s possible to unlock all Time Attack (Hard) Items without doing the 16 Time Attacks in Hard Mode. First finish the game, afterwards go to new game + and pick “Normal Mode” . Afterwards finish all 16 Time Attacks to unlock all normal time attack items in the pool. Take note that after unlocking all items don’t pick any of them or this exploit won’t work. Afterwards save manually and exit the game. At the Title Screen pick new game + and now pick “Hard Mode”. After the cutscene, go to the pool and you’ll end up having multiple cutscenes. If this happens, the exploit worked and all the items in the pool are Hard Time Attack Items instead of the normal ones.

Beat the game once on any difficulty to unlock Time Attack Mode.
When you start a New Game+, you may enter the mode by offering a prayer (R2 for modern controls, O for classic) in front of any Colossus statue in the Shrine of Worship. Only accessable on the Normal and Hard difficulties. Any items you may have can not be used during this mode.

Collect all 79 gold coins scattered around the world, then pray at the glowing wall outside the main tower (NW perimeter) to enter a secret dungeon.

Defeat the required number of colossi in the specified time attack mode to unlock various items for use in story mode. Retrieve the items from the pool of water in the Shrine of Worship, open the in-game map and press triangle to go to the items menu. Press X to activate the desired item.
