Sonic Colors was an installment in the Sonic the Hedgehog series that came out in 2010. For those who are unfamiliar, it was a third-person platformer that featured side-scrolling platforming from time to time. Furthermore, Sonic Colors is sometimes remembered because it was the installment that introduced Wisps, an alien species that doubled as power-ups meant to mix things up without causing a corresponding loss of momentum. Story-wise, Sonic is focused on saving said species because it has been enslaved by the evil Dr. Eggman, with the result that the environments are often space-themed.

Now, Sega has announced a re-release of Sonic Colors to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog series, which makes sense because it was one of the most successful installments to come out in the modern era. Besides the improved graphics, interested individuals can also expect extra content for its modes. Something that should keep them in eager anticipation of the release date of September 7 of 2021 for the PC, the PS4, the Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
