Extra Stories
Aside from the usual character paths, you can unlock two brand-new chapters in Story Mode. To do so, you must reach certain endings of a couple of characters.

Medals
By completing certain objectives in the game, you’ll unlock special medals and titles that can be viewed in the Gallery.

| Battle Butler | Dealt over 5,000 damage in a single combo using Valkenhayn. |
| Beachball! | Using Hazama, kept an opponent airborne for more than 7 seconds. |
| BEES! | Using Arakune, land a 70-hit combo. |
| Charlemagne | Defeated all the bosses on Stage 4 of Legion Mode. |
| Don’t Get Cocky, Kid! | Earn one victory. |
| Fatality | Land more than 30 Fatal Counters. |
| For Great Justice | Using Tsubaki, use the D version of every single special attack in a combo. |
| For Whom The Bell Tolls | Dealt over 5,000 damage in a single combo using Platinum. |
| Four Sheets to the Wind | Using Litchi, land Four Winds more than 4 times during the course of a match. |
| Fur and Loathing | Using Makoto, dished out over 5,000 damage in one combo. |
| Happily Ever After | Watch any character’s canon ending in Story Mode. |
| I Get Around | Use every single character. |
| Ice-Ten | Using Jin, freeze your opponent more than 10 times in a match. |
| Is In Another Castle | Cleared Stage 1 of Legion Mode. |
| Is…Is That All? | Unlock the True Ending in Story Mode. |
| It’ll Only Hurt for a Minute | Crush your opponent’s guard. |
| Lamb To The Slaughter | Using Lambda, landed a 50-hit combo. |
| Level One…! | Watch ‘Previously On’ and ‘Opening’ in Story Mode. |
| Loincloth Festival | Using Bang, landed a total of 3 Astral Heats. |
| Mu-tually Assured Destruction | Dealt over 5,000 damage in a single combo using Mu. |
| Napoleon Bonaparte | Defeated all the bosses on Stage 2 of Legion Mode. |
| New In Box | Collected over half of the collectibles in the Gallery. |
| Other Fish In The Sea | Use over 9 characters. |
| Real Ultimate Power | Used every character’s Astral Heat. |
| School’s Out | Finish the basic lessons in the Tutorial. |

| Taut Taunts | Using Taokaka, landed 5 taunts over the course of a match. |

| Trigger Happy | Using Noel, hit the opponent with Silencer more than ten times during a match. |
| Twirling Torward Freedom | Using Rachel, landed a 6C attack more than 30 times during a match. |
| Utterly Spent | Practice continuously for more than 10 minutes in Training Mode. |
| Wait, You Mean There’s More? | Earn one victory in Score Attack. |
| We Have to Go Deeper | Defeat the boss on Depth 300 in Abyss. |
| Welcome to the Abyss Hole | Defeat the boss on Depth 100 in Abyss. |
| Well, It’s Not! | Using Ragna, landed Not Over Yet more than three times during a match. |
| What Is Best In Life | Cleared Stage 3 of Legion Mode. |
| Who’s Got Next? | Beat Arcade Mode. |
| Xerxes | Defeated all the bosses on Stage 3 of Legion Mode. |
| You Broke My Heart! | Finished an opponent immediately after a gold Break Burst. |
| You’re Already Dead | Using Hakumen, dish out over 10,000 damage in one combo. |
Unlock the secret arcade mode boss
In arcade mode, meeting certain conditions will allow you to encounter a secret boss after the cut-scene for defeating the final boss ends. Every character’s secret boss is Mu-12 Unlimited, except for Mu-12 herself who instead fights Ragna Unlimited.
