Select Puzzle and Dragons Z at the game start screen, and choose the Extra option on the menu. Then select Helper Codes, and enter the passwords given. These will give you a new helper to use in the game.

In the town, a bit to the right of the girl who tells you where quests are, there is a man who will give you items for showing him certain numbers of the Dragon Stones that you can find in some dungeon chests.

Super Mario Bros. Edition: Toad House areas
Toad Houses have only one spot available at the beginning of the game, but more areas will unlock as more courses and worlds are cleared. When the main game is completed, the Lucky ? Blocks game is upgraded to provide a higher chance at rewarding players rare items — this spot can be upgraded two more times to provide even better chances.

Z version: Trade Evolutions
There are 5 specific pairs of monsters that, when traded for each other, will evolve into a dual-element fused version for both players involved. One side of the set is obtained from Dragon Stone rewards, while the other side is available from eggs given by the Z-box.
Doing this requires 2 copies of the game and 2 3DS systems, to perform the trade.
