Grand Theft Auto is a series that started up in the late 1990s. As such, there are a number of titles that were well-received in their time but have become outdated, thus making them excellent choices for a remaster. Now, it has been revealed that people can expect a remaster called Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition to come out in 2021 and 2022.

For starters, the remaster includes Grand Theft Auto IIIGrand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which came out in 2001, 2002, and 2004 respectively. They are much the same as their successors, which is to say, third-person action-adventure games in open world settings. Each one is an independent game in its own right, thus explaining the remaster’s name.

Currently, the remaster is expected to come out for the PC and the consoles in late 2021.
