How to get The Chant mind ending
For the mind ending, you’ll need the most mind points. Naturally.
Here’s what you’ll need to do:
- Pick up and read lore documents/reels: 1 point per items
- Consume lavender to replish mind energy: 1 point per use
- Choosing mind dialogue options when prompted (Y button on Xbox): 3 points per action
And here’s what you should avoid:
- Killing enemies when not required: each kill will put one point in either body or spirit depending on enemy type
- Choosing body or spirit dialogue options when prompted
- Replenishing body or spirit energy when not required
Finishing the game with more mind points than body or spirit will unlock The Howling Dark Achievement or Trophy.
How to get The Chant body ending
For the body ending, you’ll need the most body points.
Here’s what you’ll need to do:
- Killing cultists (aka non-gloom creatures): 1 point per kill
- Consume ginger to replish body energy: 1 point per use
- Choosing body dialogue options when prompted (B button on Xbox): 3 points per action
And here’s what you should avoid:
- Picking up any lore documents/reels: each document puts 1 point to mind
- Killing gloom creatures when not required: each kill will put one point into spirit
- Choosing mind or spirit dialogue options when prompted
- Replenishing mind or spirit energy when not required
Finishing the game with more body points than mind or spirit will unlock the Calm Waters Achievement or Trophy.
How to get The Chant spirit ending
For the spirit ending, you’ll need the most spirit points.
Here’s what you’ll need to do:
- Killing gloom creatures: 1 point per kill
- Consume spirit caps to replish spirit energy: 1 point per use
- Choosing spirit dialogue options when prompted (A button on Xbox): 3 points per action
And here’s what you should avoid:
- Picking up any lore documents/reels: each document puts 1 point to mind
- Killing cultists when not required: each kill will put one point into body
- Choosing mind or body dialogue options when prompted
- Replenishing mind or body energy when not required
