Creating a co-op session in Just Dance 2023 Edition
To play Just Dance 2023 Edition with a friend online*, you both need to have:
Access to an internet connection.
An active Nintendo Switch Online, PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription.
Please note that co-op progression works differently from the single-player mode.
To invite a friend to join your game online:
• Open the Your Group tab on the right side of the screen.
• Select Add or Join.
• Choose the friend you want to play with.
Once your friend accepts the invitation, their Dance Card avatar will appear in the Your Group tab.
You can also play locally with friends!
To invite a friend to join your game locally:
• Open the Your Group tab on the right side of the screen.
• Select Add or Join.
• Follow the on-screen instructions based on the controller your friend is using.
• Choose the friend you want to play with.
Multiplayer in Just Dance 2023 Edition
Challenge your friends in Just Dance 2023 Edition through multiplayer online* with cross-play support, or through local co-op on the same console!
To dance with your friends, you will need to make sure they are added to your friends list and then you can invite them to a group.
To create a group:
• Start the game.
• From the main menu, open the Your Group tab on the right side of the screen.
• Choose Friends & Requests to invite players online and view invites to other groups.
Or choose Add or Join to add a player locally.
You and your friends will be able to enjoy the full selection of base songs from Just Dance 2023 Edition.
However, if you want to play any Just Dance+ songs while in a group, all group memebers need to be subscribed to Just Dance+.
